Detroit
I’ve recently started a new series about my memories of growing-up and living in and around Detroit, Michigan. These images are dealing with specific locations and places that may or may not exist due to the constant deterioration of the city. I’m utilizing both new and old photographic resources to compose and recreate these ideas I have of the space I once lived in or visited. The geometric structures are figurative and represent either myself or deceased relatives and strangers that may have also visited these sites.
